Accreditation of VŠM programs

Based on the § 84 of the Act Nr. 131/2002 on Universities and based on the plan of Institutional Accreditation of the Accreditation Commission, VŠM successfully completed the process of Institutional Accreditation and the right to award academic diplomas at undergraduate level for baccalaureate programs in Business Administration nad Knowledge Management and at the graduate level for Magister program in Knowledge Management was re-confirmed by decree Nr. CD-2009-28974/24860-1:sekr.

Accreditation of City University of Seattle programs

City University of Seattle (CityU) is incorporated in the state of Washington and is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). The University’s business programs are also accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). Locations in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, China and Mexico have been granted the appropriate governmental authorizations, and are conducted in conformity with the relevant commercial and educational laws.

VŠM Evaluation by the European University Association (EUA)

In 2005, the Government of Slovakia invited EUA to undertake the evaluation of all public institutions of higher education in the country. The intention of this evaluation is to support Slovak higher education institutions in their continuing development in order to meet best international academic standards and practices that are adapted to their specific context. The Government also invited private universities and third level institutions to join in the exercise and VSM took this opportunity, opting for a special focus on e-learning.
