Winter Students' Games

Apache Entertainment, lead by VSM/CityU students from Trencin, Juraj Tilesch, Martina Jurcakova and Lubos Majer have decided to organize the second year of the Winter Students’ Games. The main goal of the project is to increase the quality of cooperation among young people and provide an opportunity for sport activities. Moreover, organizers of the project would like to support the intercultural dimension.

The event took place in Jasna from February 15th to February 17th, 2013. The official disciplines were downhill on skis/snowboard and slalom on skis/snowboard in two categories men/women. VSM/CityU had a strong representation at the Winter Student Games 2013. It is necessary to mention that Ľubomír Ďurišin, a VŠM/CityU student, won the second place in the discipline snowboard/ downhill men.

Congratulation to the winner and we hope that the project will continue in the next years at least as successful as it was this year.
