“Readings in Knowledge Management” published

A new book “Readings in Knowledge Management” has been published by the Iura Edition publishing house with Prof. Jozef Hvorecký and Prof. Jozef Kelemen as its editors. The content of this book is based on lectures presented during the International Summer School „Introduction to Knowledge Management“ (ISSIKM) held annually in Trenčín, Slovakia, from 2008 till 2010. The lectures have been edited to the form of a continuing text so it can be read as an introductory textbook.

Vysoká škola manažmentu in Trenčín (School of Management, VŠM) organized three summer schools within the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme/Erasmus Intensive Programme with the prevailing financial contribution assigned by the European Commission through the Slovak Academic Agency for International Cooperation (SAAIC). The partner universities were: Oulu University of Applied Sciences in Oulu (Finland), Vilnius University (Lithuania), and Institute of Finance and Administration in Prague (Czech Republic). 20 students and 8-10 educators from all participating institutions participated in the event each year. In the end of the three-year cycle, the partners decided to publish their lectures as a manuscript that could serve to a wider community of students and scholars. The book has a preface and six chapters on 166 pages:
